LAKE FOREST, Ill. - June 7, 2000 - Pactiv Corporation (NYSE: PTV), a $3 billion specialty packaging company headquartered in Lake Forest, today announced that it is in final contract negotiations with First Industrial, a real estate developer, to build a 320,000 square foot warehouse near it's manufacturing site located on Morton Avenue in Jacksonville, IL. Pactiv's proposed new distribution facility will store and distribute Hefty® brand waste bags and Hefty®One Zip® resealable food bags.
